Plan Commission

The Plan Commission meets on the second Monday of each month. The Plan Commission is responsible for reviewing all proposed plats, certified survey maps (CSMs), commercial and multi-family site plans, signs and residential business permits in the Village. They also conduct the required public hearings for conditional use permit and rezoning requests.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Plan Commission’s mission is to advise the Village Board and Village departments on broad planning goals, policies and plans for the future physical development of the Village.

GUIDING PRINCIPALS

Achieve long-range goals based on consistent and equal implementation of Village codes and policies.

Remaining accessible to the publics right to open and respectful communication regarding Village policies and programs.

Provide policy recommendations to the Village Board concerning the Village’s Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Code.

Advise the Village Board on the best use of Village lands for the benefit of the Village and its residents.
